End of Bots:   

A bot is described as an unending fight against spam accounts on Twitter. Having bots around was like a complete danger zone creating severe fear of spam accounts and scams as well.For the past few months, Musk has been ranting about the problem of bots. Now he has pledged to make “authenticating all humans” a priority, but he promised to establish a moderate structure to make Twitter a safe place for bots. 

Paid membership:   

Elon Musk has talked a lot about the “ verified blue tick” that authenticates an account that would be charged $8 per month. Around 237.8 million users have blue-check verification. According to Musk, verified accounts will be granted priority replies, mentions, and search and also they will be able to post longer videos and audio. He also announced that the revenue generated from the subscriptions will be used as a reward for the content creator.   

Eliminate fifty percent of staff:  

Elon Musk is cutting 3,700 employees including the top Executive Officer Parag Agarwal. The reason for this layoff is to cut costs and save money as the offer included his $44 billion. However, Twitter is a small company compared to other tech giants and had $1.2 billion in revenue’s last quarter. Therefore, he wants to advance the company’s bottom line and improve its workflow. Elon Musk has reportedly said he planned to gut the Twitters staff, meaning he wanted rise of hate comments and disinformation in the platform. But rather the fans of Tech leader were excited to know what will happen next. 

Edit Button:   

Elon Musk wants to introduce the passive edit button to the social media platform free of cost to every Twitter user. The edit button allows the users to edit their posts within 30 minutes of posting. This specific feature is only used by verified accounts.   

Open Source Algorithm:  

After owning Twitter, Elon Musk came up with the idea to make the app more like TikTok, with cool auto-generated feeds which include Instagram Reels and Youtube Shorts. He explained that the algorithm is open source, allowing people to publicly review the “top tweets” for more readable rankings. He wants to strengthen trust and create transparency. So the people are allowed to choose what they want to see or not. Elon plans to erase anykind of harmful posts or content in twitter.

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk obtained his Twitter deal, he addressed it as “the acceleration to creating an X” – the everything app. He wants to accommodate many services within one app making it a “super app”. The term “super app” was used to specify “WeChat” owned by the Chinese tech giant, Tencent. WeChat and other apps were affiliated with several many mini apps for buying groceries, hailing a cab, and even used for booking doctors’ appointments.
